Anika's Story
Anika Baines (a.k.a. Chardonnay Sommers) is South African by birth and Dutch by blood. She is a circus performer, burlesque artist and entertainer. Anika has always wanted to be a performer though it took a bit of searching, for the past six years she has been making her mark as a circus performer and the past three years as a burlesque artist.
Anika believes that that world is full of magic and it is her job as a performer to help share this magic with others. Her favorite performances are acts that involve audience interaction. Connecting to and bringing audience into the world that she has created around her is one of (in her opinion) the parts of being an entertainer.
